I've owned the Armida A1 ETA "Superdone" for about a week. I've been collecting dive watches for 30+ years. This is a SERIOUS tool diver. I was hesitant to purchase the Superdome version because of the 19mm height, which includes about 4mm of convex, double-curved, sapphire crystal -- projecting above the surface of the bezel. Wearing the watch has diminished my concerns. The dome (it's not dramatic) is only one of the several outstanding features of the watch. The A1 is UBER-legible. The large face and simple large hands and markers make time reading instantaneous! The C3 SuperLuminova is insane! The massive bolt-like crown is excellent. The short lugs don't have to be dramatically curved. The accuracy of the ETA 2824-2 movement is (believe it or not) SPOT ON! It's gained a fraction of 1 second in 4 days. I've never had a Rolex or Omega with that level of precision. [Yes, I know that degree of accuracy is blind luck -- the movement simply cannot be adjusted to fractions of a second/day. But I'll gladly take the good fortune.] The stock ISOfrane clone strap is OK but the buckle sucks. I quickly changed to the real thing. Armida QC appears to be top drawer. I only wish they made the A1 with a flat lens and the ETA 2824-2 or the Miyota 9015 so buyers could have the option of the flat lens or the dome. I'm "all in" with the A1. It's a GREAT addition to the boutique tool diver genre.
Hey Guys...I'm about to place an order for an A1. Just waiting for paypal funds to clear. Does Armida take Paypal? I noticed on their webiste it's credit card. Did anyone pay via Paypal?
BTW: You are all evil. Because of this thread I'm about to be $400 poorer
Thanks
a1 is available with flat lens (for both eta and miyota- eta is special order)!
accuracy is incredible with these.....
Just Arrived. ETA White hands #41 on a cold Vancouver morning!

Does anybody have a comparison picture of the Armida and a Ocean 7 G-2??
I had a G-2 once, but I never liked the fit on my wrist. So, if anybody has any good picures, I would like to compare them.
Hi all,
New member but a long time lurker.
I was looking for a nice dive watch and came across the Armida A1 (thx to you guys).
Checked some reviews and pictures of it and I loved the clean looks of it.
My wife (thank god she loves watches too) also found it beautiful.
"Go ahead and see if you can find one", she said.
There was 1 for sale here but it already was sold.
So I decided to order (with the discount) the Miyota, white hands, directly from Armida last thursday evening.
Watch shipped on friday and it was delivered today. Now, that's fast shipping.
Opened the package and the watch even looks better in real than on the pics. Nice, clean looks and the lume.... wow, like a torch.
My wife also loves it and she already asked my if she could borrow it once in a while (she wears my Seiko SKZ327 ATM). We'll see, I said.
Got #125, will post some pics later.
Greetings from Belgium,
JF
