Here's the strap speedster25 made for me to go on my new Magrette Moana Pacific Chrono PVD. Better make another one for yourself, Tim... LOL

After some shipping delays, I finally received the watch today and mounted the strap on it for the first time (I've been warming it up for the past month on a Panerai 111). Here are the first quick pics. I think the strap design was a great one for this watch. Does that look 'Rich', or what?

Yes, very nice straps guys but I haven't seen anything to knock the Isofrane off it's perch yet!

I've been thinking that a Brady sailcloth strap will also work very well with the MPC PVD.

I think I have a 24mm one laying around. I'm going to send my watch back to Dion on Monday, so I'll see if I can get a picture of it between then and now.

Also, I sent Dion the email, he replied back promptly saying that he was sorry to hear about the problem and that he'd have to look at the watch to determine the issue and that he'd reimburse my shipping costs. Talk about great customer service!

A man's watch is a very cherished thing. You steal that, you might as well be stealing his soul.

How to make a rainy Saturday 100% better?
Take one Kawasaki ZX10R, delivery note and go to post office with both of them to pick up your new Magrette :)!

Sounds like you got a lemon. Mine is functioning perfectly.

Great to hear Dion is right on top of it. That's one of the reasons I have three Magrettes and no hesitation to own another.

    Re: At last...the Magrette chronographs!!!

Just received my Moana Pacific Chrono PVD yesterday and have to say it is a beauty. Unfortunately I have come across a problem, hopefully its just something I'm doing wrong but would like to ask my fellow owners. I really want to love this watch but I am now having my doubts on the movement.

When operating the chrono function, the large and small seconds get "stuck". This has happened at various places but most times before timing to one minute. This problem is very repeatable in that it happens everytime I operate the chorno function. And when I say gets stuck, I mean stuck, the watch stops and I need to reset the time.

    Has anyone else experienced this?
