Lengend on my Wrist...Longines Legend Diver No Date!

I'm totally in love with my NEW Longines Legend Diver No Date! The watch was a slow burn in terms of desiring to have one. But after a visit to Tourneau in Chicago on my vacation the flame was lit! I saw it, touched it, strapped it on...perfect! I looked into the pre-owned market of course, but thanks to some suggestions here, I went for a brand new one from an AD. Topper worked with me on a trade in and on Wednesday the biggest freak'n watch box arrived in the mail...home of my new LLD! This watch is so classy, a true wear to work diver. The only thing I am luke warm on is the strap. The mission is to now find the perfect second set of shoes for it. This is the first big ticket item I've purchased new from an AD and I loved the experience! This IS a KEEPER!!

    Longines Legend Diver

It's a good watch. The casework punches far above its weight (price), and nothing (short of a Polaris or the original Longines Skin Diver) really has that look. The recent copies fall flat IMO. I got mine two or three years ago and it got sporadic wrist time, but over the past year I've worn it more and more, to the point of neglecting others that I searched long and hard for. I agree it's a keeper.

My date model, on shark (as it should be) with the early no-date hands:

What a fantastic looking watch. For some reason it rarely comes across my radar screen but when it does it always blows me away. Congrats, its a beauty, extremely versatile.

    Love mine!
I put mine on a vanilla smelling rubber strap that tapers to 20mm so I can use the buckle. Original strap is kinda bleh.. but it looks great on just about anything. Sand canvas strap is next for me. Enjoy it, it's a fantastic watch (also my most accurate mechanical - +2s/day)

Such a classy watch. IMO, this one one of the few true dive watches that be worn casually or with a suit.

    Enjoy it.
