I don't know.. Why do you pick out the clothes that you purchase? However, I do have a THEORY.. It's what I like...maybe? Why do you have to ask "why"?

Also know that I am not limited to ONLY bigger and heavier watches. You can see my list in my signature contain quite a large range of w atches.

Forgive me for ranting or for being rude, but why do you CARE what anyone else likes?

few pics of some of my big, heavy watches past and present:

    Autozilla on heavy metal bracelet:

Ecozilla on heavy metal set-up (IMO I had the best looking, heaviest Ecozilla ever!):

Hamilton Khaki Below Zero (on that 100 gram mesh, was an anchor on the wrist)

    Breitling Super Avengers:

    Oris 51mm Prodiver Chronograph:

You and me both! I love the feel and heft of a solid piece of stainless steel on my wrist...my favorite and heaviest was my Megalodon. It exuded quality and weighed about as much as a pint of beer! Of course, after saying that I've been wearing my Seiko Shogun (super light weight titanium)...it too exudes quality but for different reasons. Titanium is silky smooth and so refined and nicely finished...but I digress!

My favorite large diver is the Puck it will not leave my wrist (after work)

    By daveobrien at 2012-04-13

I know the OP said he did not like the A-1 but it is a great diver and HUGE. I sold mine because I could only keep one and the Puck won.
