Looking for a new diver, have some in mind but could use some opinions. Budget - $300-$600

I'm finally ready to purchase another watch and need some opinions. I am looking for an automatic diver 42mm and above. Must be within the price range of $300-$600.

Not considering price I'll name off a few I have been liking lately and if you can give some opinions or add some options I'd appreciate it and go from there. Here is the list so you can see the divers I'm into, Swiss Army Dive Master 500, Seiko Marine Master, Ocean 7 lm-6 chronograph, Steinhart Ocean GMT, Breitling SOH, Helson Shark Diver etc.
    On The Wrist
    Rolex DSSD 166600

    Not Soon Forgotten
Breitling Super Avenger - Black Baton Dial / Breitling for Bentley 6.75 / Tag Heuer Grand Carrera 17RS / Breitling Superocean Steelfish XL / Seiko SBDC001 "Sumo" / Breitling Superocean II "Abyss" / Steinhart Ocean 1 GMT / G-Shock GWF-1000B-1JR / G-Shock GW-225C-1JF

A brand-new Seiko Sumo. Best auto diver under $600, IMHO.

Well, the best if you don't want a decent bracelet, sapphire crystal, or swiss movement

Personally, I don't consider Hardlex inferior to sapphire crystal. Different characteristics, yes.

And just because a watch sports a Swiss movement (even an ETA movement) doesn't make it superior. Which movement? What grade?

Okay, I'll rephrase my answer: best auto diver under $600 for me.

+1 On the Sumo. Personally I don't see what is wrong with the bracelet; it has solid end links and a wet suit extension. The movement hacks and hand winds and is out of the box the most accurate one I have (and I have several ETA's).

I'd add the Prometheus Ocean Diver to the list. Fantastic quality for the price, particularly the case, and a very original design. Mine's just accompanied me through 3 months of traveling/hiking through Asia, China and Australia/New Zealand and it was rock solid throughout.

The Swiss Army Dive Master 500 should fit that budget with all of the deals out there but I would also recommend the Sumo!

Out of your list I would go with the Steinhart Ocean or take a look at their new Triton 30 ATM. Wilson Watch Works also makes an excellent 200m Diver in the same case design as the Ocean. Chris makes an outstanding watch, and has excellent customer support.

    Watch List:

    DOXA - 1000T Professional 615/5000, Diver 183/199, WILSON WATCH WORKS - 2K Diver 45/50, HAMILTON - Vintage Electra, CASIO -G-Shock 6600, CASIO-Protrek 2500T

    Incoming Soon:

    H2O - 2000m Orca Diver

    WILSON WATCH WORKS -
    1K Diver 45/50

SOH & Seiko MM300 are way over $600 even the used ones...
