Yeah, I actually don't mind this flimsy clasp that much. The watch head isn't heavy, so it wears pretty comfortably. I'll replace it eventually, but it's not really a big negative, and I'm certainly not worried about banging it around. I think I paid $13 or so.

You bet. Here's my absolutely nothing special mesh (first time adding pics on here, so forgive me if I screw them up):

Here's the seller (I note the price has increased by a buck since I bought this one a couple of weeks ago):

Sorry - just seeing your question. Thank you!

To adjust, I cut rows of links off with a cutting wheel on a Dremel, though I've heard some say they clip them off with wire cutters. To avoid cutting too many rows off (since it's permanent), I stopped once it was close, installed it, played with the micro adjustments, and only then removed another row. It was fiddly, but you end up with a perfect fit.

I should also mention that the links were a close fit to the case, especially with the slightly larger springbars that came on the Estoril (vs the ones that came on the bracelet). As a couple of others have mentioned, they'll move freely if you gently file or grind the center 4 links down a bit on the row nearest the case. This sounds drastic, but it's completely unnoticeable.

As long as I'm on this jag, I just noticed that damo_t mentioned this mesh band a few pages back:

Silver 18 20 22mm Web Mesh Watch Band Stainless Steel Fold Over Clasp Safety | eBay

The clasp looks a bit sturdier than mine for the same money.

Metal bracelet options for the BOREALIS ESTORIL 300 watch

Just received my 'President' curve end links bracelet from eBay seller: time_wise.

    Fits well.

    No gaps at the lugs

Removal of links is PITA due to the pins. Would prefer screw in links

Very comfortable. I may order the jubilee to try

*take note braclet is not solid links. Clasp is the folded type.

Since each row is one piece of wire that winds round and round (they're not individual links), you cut each loop of a row and the pieces fall off (well, sometimes they get hung up a bit, but they fall out with a little persuasion). A little rotary tool with a cut-off wheel is easy, but wire cutters and a good grip would work just as well.
