I did the same with my shark mesh, and no, you can't tell at all. But it might be more visible on a sold end link unless you took care to really smooth it out afterwards (which is very doable).

Yes, it did touches the case, but not in a rubbing way. It just stop the end links to continue to pivot to 90 degree to the case. Probably about 70 degree it'll stop. I'm totally fine with this arrangement.

In fact, I had caused many scratch lines on the case trying to install the oyster bracelet from StrapCode for SKX023, but it did worked in the end using the original spring bars.

So now I have one black Estoril on the SKX023 oyster bracelet, while the blue Estoril on Endmill bracelet, both from StrapCode.

Please excuse me for the late reply. :)

Yes, I think the source was me. It only touches or rub slightly. :)

Ha! Between the 200-odd pages of the original thread and this one, I've completely lost track of who said what or where it was said... I check back on these pages from time to time and am always amazed that people are still posting...

    Happy 2017 New Year.

I took out my Estorils, which I feel is my best favourite watch in 2016, to update the ideal bracelets I had found.

The black on the left is having StrapCode SKX023 bracelet. The blue on the right is having StrapCode straight ends Endmill bracelet.

More dressy on my blue Estoril, which I think is more appropriate.

Oyster style is more suitable for my "Military SM300", I think.

After grinding off the extra metal sticking out below the solid end links, I managed to install this nicely, with the stock spring bars that come with the bracelet. But it was really a struggle. I had to use dental floss to guide the other spring bar end which refuse to go into the lug hole.

Once it is in placed. I don't think I will ever want to remove it again. Simply too troublesome to put it back.

You did a fantastic job getting the end links of the SKX023 to fit!

Thank you. I wished I could say the same, considering the amount of scratch marks I had caused, getting the SKX023 to fit.

Not sure if this has already been posted, but I picked up a new-in-wrapper Omega 1571/871 bracelet in the hopes that it would fit. Well, it sorta does - just had to use 1.5mm springbars to get the holes to line up perfectly - wouldn't quite line up with 1.8mm bars. No wiggle, no gap, fits tight against the case.

End links definitely aren't perfect for the Omega style twisted lugs on the Estoril, but it's not terrible - especially when I'm not wearing my glasses ;)

    What do you guys/gals think?
