Metal bracelet options for the BOREALIS ESTORIL 300 watch

Match made in heaven, Squale mesh !

It's perfect for my 8.3in wrist after getting two extra links from a friend. BUT it hits the case after it bends a little bit so I wouldn't recommend it for smaller wrists unless you can mod it or sand it with the right tool or whatever.

This is how it's forced to curve.

It can be carefully "shaved down" with the right tool though.

Pretty sure Geckota or Watchgecko make this same exact mesh with the same Breitling style extra links.

    Edit: here's the link https://www.watchgecko.com/heavy-dut...atch-strap.php

And they sell extra links, if needed.

I've a couple of these straps lying around. Solid links and endlinks. The top link is a perfect fit to the side of the watch head, but rotates by 1mm approx when the watch is worn. I think you can see that in the pictures. Diver's extension and all. PM if interested.Name: DSCF1287.JPG

Easy fit? Any friction between case and end link?

    Thanks for the posting!

For those of you that might have the Bernhardt Binnacle, that bracelet will fit perfectly on the Estoril. No grinding, the only down side if there is a down side is that it is a little thick. Hope this helps, Ed

That's awesome. Can you post a pic? So does the end link fit perfectly between the lugs? No overhang or anything? And it's flush with the top? The Bernhardt has a twsited lug design too so I imagine it could be a good fit.

I tried the Seiko Monster bracelet and it's a no go. Doesn't fit. The lug position is too (too close to case) far for it.

Re: Metal bracelet options for the BOREALIS ESTORIL 300 watch

I tried two more options from the eBay/Amazon/web-store related to ewatchparts. Both should have had too much material as they were for "planet ocean" and "speed master" but they seemed to dry fit well. The issue was once the spring bars were engaged the the links flanges were not flush with the case. I guess this is because the spring bar hole is the right distance from the case, but not the correct height. Too bad too, the speedy style looks to me to be the best style I've seen on the Estoril.

    The search continues....

Re: Metal bracelet options for the BOREALIS ESTORIL 300 watch

I had the same experience. I'm actually wearing a manually adapted PlanetOcean copy detected by Narc'd. But still wondering why my 1610/930 from an Omega 2254 was well compatible with the Estoril, but not a single aftermarket bracelet for PO/Speedmaster/Seamaster fits without modification up to now. I already tested a Speedmaster copy where the endlinks where too large. Today I got an aftermarket Speedmaster bracelet where the endlinks where 1 mm too short. Just for clarification I tried that aftermarket bracelet on the Seamaster 2254. (Picture below, right side)

It looks just as with the Estoril. 1mm to short, which means several mm jiggle at the outside.
Funny to see that Estoril and Seamaster 2254 seem to be bracelet wise compatible. Below the Estoril with the adapted PlanetOcean aftermarket bracelet (left) and original Seamaster 1610/930 (right).

and here the same with the Seamaster:

That way I got the possibility to use a PO style bracelet onto the Seamaster 2254 and switch the 1610/930 to the Estoril. But I keep the Seamaster unchanged.

So up to now, no comfortable out of the box aftermarket Speedmaster style bracelet for the Estoril.
