    B-)

    Great Work Danny!
I like the Alpha mods,B-) the only thing about the original Alpha I did not like is the name ALPHA on the dial, just does not fit it. IMHO.

Yeah, just handwork though. 'Fraid I'm an uncontrollable polisher. Every since I discovered SemiChrome working in a Schwinn shop in '72, no brass, alluminium, or stainless is safe!

I've been thinking alot about those 2. Nice watches. If you had too pick one, which would you choose and why?

Extremely tough call there. But if forced... ("that's it, you can only keep one of these dumb watches, or I'm taking the kids and leaving!), I'd end up keeping the TudorFish. Not because of the mods (which I do really like) but because it's more traditional shape is a little less jarring to the eye, and makes for a case contour that is slighty more comfortable on the wrist.

Both are 1000m watches, both built to withstand a nuclear (nucular?) blast, both exhibit construction quality that far exceeds their pricepoint. AND the ProDiver dial color (which I hated as a kid because it was so "dated") has become my favorite color in the world.

But I'd have to go with the TudorFish.

    JM2CW! YMMV!

    B-)
