I purchased my Zenton B42 back in May 2011. I always fancied a bronze watch and at the time Helson and
Benarus had already launched their bronze offerings but I really liked the simplicity of the bezel less B42.
It looked elegant, timeless and less of the typical over sized divers watch. Being made from UNI 5275 also appealed as its the same alloy as Anonimo had used.
It arrived quickly and I was impressed:
With my PRS 3 LE
After 7-8 months of wear the patina started to build naturally:
After Benarus and Helson had recalled their bronze models I supsected Zenton would to and sure enough they did. They handled the situation very well and replaced the case with an alloy made from AB5S (CuAl11Fe6Ni6).
It feels and looks very impressive, with a light gold sheen to the case which I hope will tarnish nicely with wear.
