I have to say that is one sweet watch. A watch like that, were it a bit smaller, could bring me back into the Seiko fold.

    Enjoy!

    Re: My Bronze Tuna Emperor!

    Thanks guys!

I like the emperor in all black but it was just a bit to ''LUMINOX'' looking for my taste IMO. I did not want to flip it since I like everything about the emperor's style. So I took my courage in both hands and started to mod it. Now I'm just crazy about it!

Many hours of wet sanding: the bezel (few hours), the shroud, shroud screws, crown (that took for ever so long!) finally the buckle and keeper.

Since the shroud, buckle and keeper are all made of titanium, I fabricated an ''anodizer'' with a few batteries, aligator wires, aluminium foil and some coca cola (for it's acid but you can use acid with water). I then looked up the anodizing color chart to know the voltage to use to get a nice bronze like color and I zapped the titanium!

Here's my simple setup just before I filled it up with coca cola. Black negative wire on aluminium foil, Red positive wire on the titanium part. Dip the part in the coca cola for 3-4 seconds and you're anodizing titanium! Just dont touch the aluminium foil with the titanium part!
