My first dive watch! Seiko 6309-729a

After constantly perusing watchuseek and various dive watch websites for the past 3 months, I purchased my first dive watch and it has finally arrived in the mail. I started small with a restored Seiko 6309-729a from the much reputed seller loyswatch on eBay. I couldn't be happier with the quality- it literally looks like a new watch. It's modified with 6105 hands and a black day/date wheel with white print. I still have it on the strap it came with, but will be picking up a couple natos and possibly a mesh bracelet for it. The 42mm size is perfect on my small wrist (just under 7 inches).

I like it so much that I already purchased another Seiko from loyswatch- this time the 6309-7040/6105 mod. Here are some quick shots I took with my phone:

Welcome to the board and congrats on a great looking watch. Great choice too. Like Diver, I started out with Seiko...SKX, 729A, & 7040. All are great watches but just wait until your 7040 arrives. Man oh man are they comfortable to wear!! Enjoy!!
