    My Marathon CSAR Driving me nuts!!!

    so, here is the deal, I have a Marathon CSAR, this watch been downrange with me works great, came back from Afghanistan didn't use it for few month, simply cuz i didn't want it to get scratch doing e. Now im using it again and here is the deal, i set it sec by sec with my PAW1100 next day i notice my Marathon is behind my PAW100... few sec, so my question how long till this watch is fully winded, this is my 1st day does need more time to be fully winded, or it's movement not working properly, or im just being over concerned?!

    An automatic usually isn't going to be spot on for timekeeping. If it's only loosing a few seconds each day, consider yourself lucky.

    To fully wind it, just swirl it around with your hand for about 5 minutes.

    Or you can just unscrew the crown and wind the watch.

    Sorry...didn't know you could wind the 7750. I'm used to my 2824-2's. I've read that you don't want to wind those too much.

    It has a clutch. Give it ten turns and you're good to go.

    Wear it for a few days, keep track of how much it's running off the atomic Casio. If it's enough to bother you, take it to a watchmaker.

    Note the following are considered acceptable performance for a 7750 movement

    • the Elaborated grade is adjusted in three positions with an average rate of +/-5 seconds/day with a maximum daily variation of +/-15 seconds/day;
    • the Top grade is adjusted in five positions with an average rate of +/-4 seconds/day with a maximum daily variation of +/-10 seconds/day.

    The Chronometer grade must meet strict standards prescribed by the [COSC]: an average rate of -4/+6 with a maximum daily variation of +/-5 seconds/day.[11]
