My new Orient "Poseidon" 469SS040 from Brazil (Large pictures, 1920x1200)

    Hello fellows,

I recently acquired a new Orient "Poseidon" 469SS040 watch. I'll briefly describe it's features:

    •Orient 300m (Poseidon) 469SS 039
•Orient in house Automatic Non-hacking/non-handwinding movement
    •40 hrs power reserve
    •Diameter: 46mm
    •Thickness: 17mm
    •Lug to Lug: 51mm
    •Lug Width: 24mm
    •Weight: 276g
    •Day and date display
    •He Valve
    •Water Resistance: 300m
    •Screw down crown and caseback
    •Uni-Directional rotating bezel

It also comes in a pretty box, containing a additional rubber strap (which is very comfortable and specially designed for the model), the tools for strap changing and additional bolts for the strap. The lume is ok and starts very bright and decays pretty fast, but keeps shining steady for hours.

The steel bracelet is solid and well built, with and engraved Orient logo on the clasp.

As the pictures show, the watch is a beautiful rendition of the classic diver's watch, combining the classic 469 movement with a big and nicely finished steel case. Hope you guys like the pictures and find them useful somehow.

    Best regards,

    Luiz

Nice watch! I especially like it on the bracelet. I like the hex bolts for the strap, too. No springbars here!

I'll add a wrist shot tomorrow. The bracelet looks really beautiful , but I find the rubber band a lot more comfortable. I'm thinking about a leather strap, will it look good ?

Nice. I agree rubber straps are more comfortable, especially in the summer.

The hands remind me of the Monster. Lume seems quite good.

I've taken the wrist shots, with both bracelet and strap. I wore the bracelet today and it really looks better. I think i'll get a Panerai style strap for it.

Nice pics! The strap looks cool, but I think the bracelet really makes the watch. Thanks for sharing.

How come the logo looks different than Orient's purchased in the US?
