    My Weekend with a Borrowed Tuna

    DWC member was nice enough to allow me to borrow his Tuna (sbbn017) for a little while so I could see what's what with the cult of the Tuna.
    I picked up the watch from the post office on the way to work Friday morning and will share a few pictures from the bonding experience this weekend. NOTE: this initial thread is just my introduction to the Tuna and not the "mother of all reviews" that will come later. But first, none of this would be possible without Michael's generosity, so with that, he gets the highest of fives:

    now then, Friday shot on the dash before heading out to lunch. Iso is soooooooo righteous. I'm not much for big holes in my my straps, but goodness this is so comfortable I could wear it and not worry about it

    Off to lunch by West Point Lake and see a spot that has nice contrast for a bracelet shot:

    Saturday morning time for yard work,

    Time to check the Mail - canvas strap looks good on just about everything:

    Road trip to Home Depot

    Quick check of the fresh cut grass and it is a good thing, especially on vintage leather

    Back on the road to our next destination:

    Which would be to the theatre to see the new "Spiderman" :

    Sunday Morning rolls around and back on the bracelet for Church

    Playground after Church:

    Back home and clearing out some fire wood from the back yard:

    Another strap change and time to fire up the grill for Sunday dinner:

    and of course the obligatory knockout lume shot:

    Awesome watch, and possibly a record number of strap changes, haha. The bracelet, canvas, and zulu look amazing on that watch. Thanks for all the pics; it's great to see how versatile that watch is.

    @Davidhu,

    Man you are outtaa control!!!!!!!! I think you may have me beat for number of TUNA's owned, I know I owned at least 15 at one time.

    @rockmastermike,

    Awesome pics man! Love all the strap changes, and the 300 TUNA just rocks on an oyster bracelet, especially the new Seiko Marinemaster version. That is one of my all time fave watches, and I'd take the new AUTO 300 TUNA Marinemaster version over a Rolex SUB. And yes, I've owned plenty of Rolex's.
    For members who understand, no explanation is needed. For thread crappers who do not understand, no explanation is possible. Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

    Looks great. The tuna is one of my favorite all-time divers.
