Regarding the "lemon bath". Is it necessary to submerge the watch in lemon juice or, is it sufficient to wet a cloth and just wipe the surface of the case?

Air is your friend in any sort of forced patina. I would think a Qtip wiped lightly should do the trick.

I use onions, lemon juice, vinegar or mustard on knives and it works great. Plus, you can always polish it off or add another coat to darken.

Love the bronze as a case. Sigh, I must shop for one now.

I do have a small wrist... under 6.5". But I do enjoy wearing large watches. I think this one doesn't look absurd. My limit is 47mm.

I simply used a q-tip to apply it onto the watch. Used the q-tip to rubbed it a little too. I then used a damp cloth to clean it up.

Nice patina . How long has that been developing? Any special applications? Boiled eggs, liver of sulphur, vinegar, ketchup, salt water, boiled peanuts?
