    New Arrival... Bronze Shark Diver

Yesterday I received my Helson Bronze Shark Diver and boy am I impressed with this watch! The color of the bronze is just amazing... it arrived with some uneven patina (Helson claims the cases sat in their stock while they awaited for the hands and their facility is near the ocean, expediting the patina process) but today I did the lemon juice clean up to get the surfaces even. The green dial is beautiful, the lume is very strong, and overall the piece just feels like quality. Looking forward to comparing the Olivier Bronze with this one once the Olivier gets released.

    Now onto the pics...

Came in this pretty cool container...

You can see the uneven patina...

After the lemon bath and a different brown leather strap... looks a million times better now...

Yes! Ketchup works the same as lemon... I tried both with the same results so I just used lemon since it was cleaner :).

Re: New Arrival... Bronze Shark Diver

When Helson announced the 47 mm Stingray, I was slightly disappointed. However, was I ever pleased when I got the email saying that a new batch of bronze Shark Divers was ready to ship! Ordered mine as soon as I could and it should be in my hands tomorrow. I went with the black dial. I would love the brown however, I think that having a date dial that doesn't match the watch face is a little strange...
