Bottom line is : As long as it isn't illegal by law, Helson has the right to come up with products it desires ... We as dive watch lovers get to decide the fate of those timepieces by our Hard Earned Dollars ... If u Think of em as homages or replicas, Don't Buy Em !!!! And the production will stop ... If not, it will flourish .... We Decide !!! ... I much prefer relatively original designs personally but then I ain't you or anybody else !! ... And as for the Debate ... It's always good to argue ... ( except in front of ur wife ) Cheers !

For me the Ploprof isn't a watch I'd spend $3k to $5k on. There are watches I have bought in that range; for me the Ploprof just isn't one of them. At $1k I'm thinking what the heck I'll try that style of watch.
