My thoughts exactly. It's actually a work colleague that fancies it but i have my doubts as well. Anyone else share this opinion? For the money imo he'd be better off with something else.

If you ask me it's way way over priced. Just looking at the Hamilton watches and the cost, ouch!
The extension has 'au' i'm guessing that's the Australian currency?

It depends on what you want, but is the compass a necessary feature for you?
I personally wouldn't purchase it for the following reasons:
-Resale value could be poor on a brand not well known.
-Not knowing the service and quality coming with a 3k watch
    -Compass?

For 3 grand you can settle on other name brands that would easily fulfill your needs.
If it's a diver, here's a few in the price range if not less:
    UTS
    Sinn
    H20
    Seiko MM300
    Seiko Tuna's

Mind you I can't list them all but the threads here have some wonderful choices as well.
    Check out OceanicTime
There's an archive of wonderful watches that could fit your needs:)
Good luck on the hunt and really take your time, cause there's always one waiting on the corner that
fits the bill slightly better than the last decision made.

Absolutely no information to be found regarding the movement(as mentioned),100m WR & save over $6000.00!Don't back away slowly,RUN AWAY QUICKLY!!!
WAY too many quality watches to be had at that price. You want Titanium, get a Doxa Sub800Ti or Tutima Di300.REALLY need a compass, add a Tritium tubed Cammenga Lensatic Compass(Military Issue).ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE a watch/compass combination?Get yourself a Vintage Squale "Rambo" & have it relumed & serviced before hitting the jungle......

Actually Paul Picot is a very well known Swiss maker that's been around since 1976 and mostly known for their Technograph model. I can vouch for the C-Type chronograph (3rd from top), it has a ETA 7753 and it is killer in person.

At a first glance I thought they were knock off Invictas

The C-Type Compass has a bit too much going on for my taste. I'd look at the Eterna Kontiki 1000M instead; or the industrialized version by Porsche Design P6780 divers. Personally I think the crown on the Eterna is a work of art.
