Perrelet Double Rotor Titanium Sports 43.5mm

    perfect size:
    43.5mm
    100M WR
    street price around $4500 (impressive!)

How do they build/sell this watch at this price

Not as amazing as the JLC Amvox2 I am lusting after, but pretty sweet.
Not feeling the polished case however.

Neat watch with exquisite finish, however several things annoy me:

    1. The rotor on the dial. I think this would be seriously annoying in a manner similar to the "Happy" moving diamonds on some Chopard ladies watches. From other pics on the web it's clear that this is a freely moving counterweight that can obscure the date.

    2. Text and arrow indicating "date". No sh*t!

    3. Numbers versus marquis (or whaterver they're called) at 11, 1, 5 and 7.

    4. Partial carbon fiber dial. I think CF has run its course on watches and find it rather juvenile.

No doubt it is a very nice piece. But that rotor in the front? Makes it to look like cheap novelty watch. And what is the function of the frontal rotor, apart from obscuring the date?
    I pass!

Surprised it is as low as that too considering what you are getting...

if it had the name Bathys on it... it would be $9000... (sorry had to do it after seeing the $1k quartz they are launching).
