At the risk of sounding bitter, how are there already 100 reservations for a release that supposedly didn't have a reservation list?

This watch was probably announced a year ago, and some folks have been following its development since then. Many of those folks have also emailed Halios to be put on the reservation list. I don't think any reservation list was ever officially announced, but there has to be some benefit for loyalty and patience.

I get that Eric, I've been following this from the beginning and have bought from Jason in the past. I also emailed to ask about notification but never heard anything more and all indications -- until this thread -- including everything I've followed on the Halios website, blog, and FB, gave me no reason to think there was a list. I certainly may have missed something somewhere -- it wouldn't be the first time!

Hi folks, thank you all sincerely for the interest in the Puck. And Liz, thanks very much for posting the pics and starting the thread. It might be best for me to jump in at this point and let you guys know what's going on with "The List", delivery schedules and availability.

The first batch will begin shipping at the end of next week. I plan to get in touch with the first 100 folks on my list by Monday of next week to see if they're still interested (the list was started in March of last year). A second batch will arrive in mid-February, and it should be ready to ship about a week later after my final QC. The third batch will be ready around June.

The "process" to "reserve" a watch wasn't laid out clearly, and for that I apologize. I had envisioned that every single person who was interested would be able to purchase a Puck at his/her leisure instead of having to stress about "Lists", rations, more delays and such. Still, I think I did a decent job of compiling a list of folks who expressed interest. If you think I've missed you, shoot me an email.

Last thing: I make it a point to respond to all emails in a (fairly) timely manner. I'm caught up until Tuesday's emails, so if you haven't received a reply, either check your spam folder or kindly re-send.

Well I have also been following since the beginning, but didn't realize there was an implicit 'reservation list' in place or else I would certainly put myself on. I did read some of the more frequent updater's making comments like 'hoovering over the pay button', etc...which I guess I wrongly interpreted as first come first serve once official release??#$% Well done for those of you who more more proactive in your contact to Jason, but too bad it wasn't more clearing stated.
