I hd the sd I currently have a Posiden black/yellow and a DB d/n recon which is the predecessor to the rescue. Worry not the high end DB is awesome

    Love the Posideon as well

Re: Prometheus Poseidon vs Deep Blue Daynight Rescue and a long explanation

After careful deliberation between the Poseidon and the Daynight Rescue this last week, and not having been able to make up my mind conclusively in favor of one or the other (a sure sign I'd have been happy with neither), this morning I remembered a bracelet from another thread I started asking about bracelets with big wrist presence. Someone posted a watch I didn't recognize, and they just showed the bracelet and case back, so I didn't know what the watch was. I didn't pursue it further because I didn't think to use reverse image search until this morning. I used that image on Google and I found out what the watch was. I can make out the brand name on the case back now, but looking at it earlier without knowing what the watch was and seeing the image smaller in a forum thread I had no idea. Here's the image:

This is my black dial diver. I have that feeling for it, the feeling I wanted to have but didn't for both the Daynight and the Poseidon. I ticks every check box for me except ceramic or sapphire bezel, but at least there is a stainless option and I also think it looks better with that bezel. It also scores two very big points for having a bracelet that reminds me of my grail, the Ball Skindiver II along with my very favorite clasp type, and also for generally reminding me of the build of my Boschett Harpoon, which I love to death.

So the winner is neither the Poseidon or Daynight Rescue, but the Pantor Seahorse!

Thank you very much to all who provided feedback. It did help me make my decision, despite choosing neither.

you had me at the bracelet

A g shock digital fits the bill due to your circumstances.
Otherwise the Posideon is a fab watch

I was gonna say you need an Orient Sat diver. Strap it on, and go fight. I pity the fool whose head it cracks....

    - seriously beefy build, so strong it doesn't need a helium valve
    - nearly 6mm thick flat sapphire
    - ceramic coated bezel insert
    - biggest spring bars you'll ever see, and semi-hooded lugs
    - Killer ratcheting clasp
    - 3 ISO ratings, including shock (take THAT, punk!)
    - also comes with an automatic side of awe
    - will urinate on all others in your collection, and inmates if needed, as well

But hey, Pantor works too, congrats!

Congrats on the Pantor. If you haven't purchased it yet look at the Tempest Viking and Commodore. I have the Commodore (white dial stick numbers) and it's a great daily wear because it's titanium.

Lol there goes AVS_Racing again hating on the two brands that banned him for life.

You sold the Prometheus and Borealis but you also sold most of your Deep Blues and Orients, if not all, haven't you ?

    Funny guy.
