Tag Formula, heavily discounted and a nice mix of dress and sport. Right around your budget from grey market dealers, which I buy from all the time. Really nice bracelet and different from the Tuna. I have the Aquaracer 500 quartz and it's one of my favorite watches.

Oh my, that watch is a stunner, definitely gonna buy one as I want a Tuna but can't afford one.

Thanks for this information, and it looks awesome on steel.

OP, just save up and get a Sinn UX or Omega SMP, unless neither fit or are unattractive. You can get a nice SMP for $1200-1500, and same with a UX if you're patient.

    -120 click uni-directional bezel
    -domed crystal
    -nice looks

Discontinued. But you can still find them for cheap.
    Got mine for $30.00 used.

Bedsides the Cressi, the same watch is available with different names on the dial. Mine is Aqua Lung, and it's been dead-on accurate and reliable as it has the same Seiko-Epson VX42E quartz movement. Apeks is widely available in the UK in a couple variations...

Thanks to everyone who posted .. Unfortunately, I still haven't found anything I like :( Marathon dials are too busy, the ecozilla is too "out there", the the others I'm not sure about the movement quality. It is a shame that the micros don't make much in the quartz category. So many nice looking watches from Helson, Aquadive, Helios etc but all automatics :'( May be I'll look into vintage models,I know Seiko made some watches with their 75xx movements. I do need to read more about older Swiss quartz dive watches.

I'm going to wait and save up while I keep looking. If anyone comes across a diver with a good quality movement, pear share here.

I don't think that anyone has mentioned the quartz models of Victorinox Dive Master 500, which come in several colors and finishes.

BTW, the quartz divers from Marathon and Timefactors do have one particular advantage over most of the others-They come with 10 year batteries, which means you shouldn't have to open them up every three years or so for a new battery.

Ronda swiss 715 movt comes with at least 5 years batt life. Not that bad compare to others.
