Recommendations for Diver Watches: I have small wrists

    Hello everyone,

I am very interested in getting a diver watch, however, my wrists are small. I have been looking into getting the Orient Black Mako or Orient Ray, but I am concerned the diameter of the watch may be too big for my wrist. For those who have these watches, how are they in terms of size?

My price range is anywhere between $100.00 to $200.00.

If any of you could recommend a small diver watch, I would appreciate it

Hey! I have 6" wrists and am in the same boat. I just bought a mako yesterday (should get here on thursday via amazon), so I'll post pictures then. In the meantime, here's a thread I started and got some good help with: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f74/rea...00-719936.html

    Good luck!

If you are using the watch for diving, then your wrist size should not matter.

    Seiko 007

On the smaller side, fits your budget, and has a reputation unbeatable in its class.

I have 6" wrists with about 48 mm across the top. SKX 013 (midsize diver) would fit nice. Also someone else suggested the SKX 007 / 009 / 173 / etc family, also fit reasonable.

Show off your small wrist! (with watch!)

Anything with short lugs. The Seiko SKX007/009/171 etc. is a good recommendation, but even a monster (SKX779/781) will work on a smaller wrist, due to the lugs not overhanging your anatomy.
