Which Reliable Accurate Automatic Diver for $300?

So, I have been scouring the forums for last few weeks looking for a diver. This will be my only watch and I want something that I'll be able to wear at work as well as for a swim in the ocean.

Dress code at work is business/smart casual. I want the bezel so that I am able to time my breaks and lunches. A gshock would have been good for that but I wouldn't wear a digital watch with work clothing (full sleeves shirts, trousers and leather shoes). Also, I like the look of divers and I definitely want an automatic.

Following are the things I want in a watch:
    - Automatic/Mechanical diver
    - Less than $300
    - On a bracelet (If the watch comes without a bracelet, the price including the aftermarket bracelet has to be less than $300)
    - 40 - 42mm case diameter (I have 6.75" wrist)
    - Black dial preferred
    - Accurate timepiece (I know it's automatic and won't match the accuracy of quartz, but as accurate as possible in this budget, please)
    - Good lume
    - WR rating: 200m or better. Should be able to withstand an occassional dip in the ocean.

I do not want the following in watch:
    - No Mercedes hands
    - It will be worn to work and in the urban settings so can't really have very toolish looking watch.

The only watch I have found so far is Seiko SKX007. Is there anything else I should consider?

A few other contenders that I came across in the forum but do not fit my criterion:
    - Seiko Monster (do not like the looks)
    - Bernhardt Shark Master (need date, plus people say lume is no good)
    - Ecozilla (do not like the looks)
    - BFK (want automatic)
    - UHR 412 (too big; NO 46mm case for me)
    - Spork (out of budget, $350 in FS Section)
    - Vostok Amphibia (naah)
    - Do not like look of Orient (Ray, Mako)

Thanks, I'm reading about these citizens... and I think I'll go with Seiko over citizen. For me (buying online) the price is almost the same but more parts seem to be available for Seiko in case I want to change something like the dial ( wish I could get rid of DIVER'S 200m text ) or bracelet.

    SKX007 Dimensions:
    Crystal Diameter 31.5 mm
    Bezel Diameter 40 mm
Case Diameter (no crown, 3-9) 42.5 mm
Case Diameter (with crown) 45.5 mm
    Lug to Lug 46 mm
    Lug Width 22 mm
    Thickness 13 mm

I'd have a look at the Deep Blue Pro diver 1k on bracelet. Not a watch I'd buy myself as you've got no option for straps, but since you want a bracelet that's not a concern. They also don't wear as large as the measurements insinuate - I've got a Kirby Morgan 1000m quartz watch which is the same case and it's fine on my 6.75" wrist. Leisurepro is selling them at $209 with free US shipping which seems like a reasonable price to me. Miyota movement which I guess may put some people off, but I've been happy with the watches I've had previously with the same. Good luck!

Prometheus Baiji - slightly large at 43.5 but shouldnt be a problem on yr 6.75. Checks all yr other requirements and tritium dial as bonus.

Just go with the SKX007, my friend. It'll meet all your needs, and then some ! No need to consider anything else ...

Agree with phlabrooy. For $300, you can get a 007 and a Super Sub bracelet, with change to spare.

The 007 has everything you are looking for, plus it is the base of a million mods. The fact that you have a healthy aftermarket supply means that you can change literally everything about the watch.

Virtually any other watch will require you to take what you get.....which is fine if you like what you get. But since you have what sounds like definite constraints in both price and looks, the 007 really is the best choice here.

Plus it looks great in its own right.
