The curved spring bars are the only thing about the Sea Hawk series I'd like to see GP change. I have a Sea Hawk II 300m version and I've never tried it on a NATO. Personally I would be very hesitant to use a NATO or Zulu with curved spring bars. I wonder if there is enough room to use standard bars with a NATO.

Regarding the curved spring bars, is there a way to fit straight spring bars on this watch?
    Lots of dive watches.

My version is different than th OP's but one time I tried a straight spring bar and the non-curved rubber strap off another watch. It went on but rubbed the case more than I was comfortable with. It's possible that a NATO or Zulu is thin enough to work but Sea Hawks tend to have long, thick lugs that IMO would overpower a thin strap.

NATO might not work for me for I believe it won't stay on the wrist..

A lug hole would be another area for improvement.

I missed couple of chances to buy a U1 rubber to fit my Seiko 600m and I think this rubber works very well, though hopefully it won't disintegrate when not in use as I had the experience with some Seiko rubber before.

Just picked up the same model but with the rose gold bezel and carbon dial. I love GPs!

Another legend there, and one of the best dive watches made. Congrats!
