Does anyone know the thickness of the SEIKO Marine Master Professional 1000M Automatic Diver SBDX011 sapphire crystal is?Sorry about the longish description--I just wanted to be accurate on which watch I'm talking about. Thanks!

how accurate do you need to know it? I recall reading someplace that its something like 4mm to 4.5mm thick.

got to thinking and I can't recall where I read it and a quick google indicates that this is not a widely published number so take my recollection is very unconfirmed and perhaps BS! pretty sure I read it but......

Well, any idea gives me a rough estimate...so thanks!

I dont know, but I'd take a punt at 4-5mm for a 1000m diver watch
One tends to hear those sort of figures on that sort of depth of watch and generally around 3mm on a 300m watch
Post the thread over on Seiko forum, those guys are knowledgable to the point of fanaticism, someone no doubt will have the original drawings and measurements from Seiko to post :)

Off topic but the name of that watch is the longest I have ever seen!
