Seiko SSC017 or Orient Yellow Mako, help me decide.

    First post here!
I just got gifted some amazon credit...

Looking to pick up a new watch-

    torn between:

    Orient Yellow Mako

I know there is about a $100 difference between the two, but curious what people's opinions are on this...
    a little help. Thanks!

Not a huge fan of either. They're also hard to compare. After being divers, there aren't many similarities. Different in color, auto vs quartz, chrono, busyness.

If I had to pick one, it would be the Seiko.

Curious what other watch would be your pick for around $250?

Between those two, the Seiko (though in yellow instead of blue).

I have both of these watches and like them both (though my versions are the all black Seiko and black dialed Ray). The Ray is about half the cost of the Seiko, so if you include the price its actually pretty hard to pick between them. The Ray is better value. The Ray has a cleaner look, better bezel. The Seiko has the chrono and a very nice case.

If I could only have one? Probably the Ray for the classic look and auto movement.
