Was the original available in models other than the Professional (orange)?

Also, I'm assuming this will wear lighter (weigh less) than a 1200t -- would be great to know the approximate weight.

Amazing! Unfortunately I'll be catching one of these on the used market, having just quit my job to spend more time with my kid. I wouldn't trade preschool drop off for anything, but I do think I may start to miss having any $ whatsoever...
I saw your girl looking at my beard. None of my business, though.

Yes, they were available in Sharkhunter and Searambler. It would have to be lighter, since it's much thinner.

Like jswing said, this 50th Anniversary model is based on the original 300, not the 300T which is Cussler's watch. The 300T's cases were thicker, and had flat mineral glass crystals. The 300s had thinner cases, and a domed plexi crystal.

Great job on this one! But the big question is: Does the bracelet taper to 16mm at the clasp like the original? Anything wider than that at the clasp kills it for me. The proportions just looks off with anything wider. A 20mm lug to 16mm at clasp true BOR bracelet on this and I'd take one of each model.

Good idea Liz. I'm going to try to forget about it until November. I don't like my chances.
