For the mention - borrowed the pics and info from the website, I think it is impressive as a new watch for their line.

Curioulsy reminiscent of the Halios Laguna... I like it but I can't figure out if the crown for the internal bezel is screw down or not. Also the bezel is bi directional but I don't know if it has clicks or not.

I suspect any resemblance is purely coincidental, St Moritz definitely did not copy Halios, as Jason has just recently been developing his designs and St. Moritz already seems to have this watch in production, which means it was designed long ago. Plenty enough differences to me. The appearance of internal bezel dive watches doesn't seem to vary much as watches always have the Aquatimer look.

I would guess that the internal bezel crown screws down given the 300m rating. Not sure if a clicking internal bezel is important. The internal bezel watches that I have owned did not click. Not a bad looking watch. Curious about the pricepoint.

    Kind Regards,
    Nick

Same here. I love their m1 and if that thing is reasonable it may be my next diver.

I would like to see a different color combination. Orange belongs on oranges, doxa and orangutans.

I agree with you Nick (dnslater), it's probably just the internal bezel on a bracelet; didn't mean to imply copying. Reallistically there's only so much you can do if you don't want to make it too outlandish...

The 300 M water resistance doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be a screw down crown; look at the Prometheus Ocean Diver and for that matter the upcoming Halios Laguna (non screw down, 500 M).

I hope it's not screw down and has clicks because otherwise it's quite useless for diving IMO.

They copied the Schaumburg Aquamatic III COSC Chronometer. Schaumburg has has their listed for a good 8 monthes already and St. Moritz had just recently posted theirs. For the Schaumburg site and 'original' (can't even call it that), go to SCHAUMBURG WATCH AQUAMATIC C.O.S.C. CHRONOMETER
