Sub on Bund, Yay or Nay. Heavy pics included...

I always thought a Sub on a leather strap was a big no no. The bund strap seemed to be tailored for the Daytona and not the Sub. But then I tried it on and must say its quite comfortable and with the right outfit and of course the right mood the bund strap can be really enjoyable.

Shame I do not own a Daytona at the moment, Sub will have to do

Custom and hand made from Cordovan Leather by Attila. Cheers

    "Bund" and "Cobra"

Got to have the 16mm Rolex buckle to add the finishing touch.

    Thanks for looking.

I like the simplicity and clean lines of the bund on both the SD and Snowflake sub. Very nice pieces and I am so jelly (yeah had to use that term, lol)... I am still wiping the drool off my keyboard.

The snowflake is working for me but the Rollie isn't. I can't explain it easily, but the snowflake's more "vintage" and simple aesthetic gives it a more utilitarian and mil-vibe that works on the bund. The Rolex looks more like someone put a Rolex on a bund. A little out of place. I don't hate it, but I just don't like it as much as I would on a good period bracelet.
Dear WIS, I have seen your watch addiction affect your life negatively in the following ways...

Very nice watches, but personally I wouldn't put them on a bund strap, I think NATO would look much better.

Attila's straps are awesome, enjoy yours. That shell cordovan is the best.

I agree nothing tops the original bracelet but this was just a change after seeing the bracelet and Natos for a while :)

I am sorry but a diver does not look good on a bund, let alone a red font SD...

I would slap it on a Nato like so ..

the bees knees says me ...

PS: You do not need a Daytona with such a wonderful red font SD. Enjoy it in peak health ...

I say Nay. It's interesting but not my cup of tea.

I'm enjoying my Sub-C on a bund I just got.

I might get one in a natural color like David Woo.

I am not a Bund guy, but I think those are the perfect candidates for the strap. There is something "period/genre correct" that works, but not on my wrist.
