Congrats to those of you who ordered one of these.

In pictures with the bracelet the watch looks fat for lack of a better word. I think that this is partly due to the dial within a dial effect that the 12,3,6,9 markers create. I think it looks more proportioned on the rubber strap. Looking forward to seeing pics of it on canvas ........ahem....cough....cough.....Brice.....cough .

For those of you that had a Steinhart Ocean series, how does it wear in comparison to that watch that also had long flat lugs?

    Enjoy your new toys.

I'll bite. They both have very similar flat lugs; the L2L is the same at 50mm. I believe that the caseback on the Tactico is a bit thicker & more "bulbous"; as such, it DOES make the watch sit up a bit more, at least on MY wrist - I wear my bracelets tight too...

So it does sit higher off the wrist, but when you look down at both, the Steinhart looks bigger due to the larger dial face...

    I got number 8, wow.

Bracelet is the only issue I have with the watch. I have to agree, the long lugs and the size of the bracelet end links it does have a "fat-ish" look to it. I have the bracelet sized now (good Lord!!) and it wears comfortably for me. Drilled lugs would be nice for sure, as stated earlier, the spring bar indentions are quite shallow.

Still a keeper for me right now! Case and dial are beautiful!

#45 checks in for duty, guys. My first Tactico/Crepas and I have to say it is a very impressive build.

    I'll oblige if I keep it. :)

Bracelet is not as thick as I thought, it is less substantial than that of the my Borealis, the clasp much less so. Clasp is average here. The bracelet double screw system sucks, they need to look at what borealis and others do.

Unfortunately, it wears long and flat like the Steinhart O1 but it wears narrower, has that very elongated look, due to dial I am sure. It is oddly proportioned. Not for everyone for sure but looks cool.

and it freaking needs drilled lugs :)

    Re: Tactico TC2 Expedition

As requested here are photos on canvas, I tried this green one first as it has some yellow to it. But I have a brown mustard one that may be perfect for it.
Photos are unfiltered in fact untouched at all.

    Tactico TC2 Expedition

I also took some bad photos last night indoors (sorry) to compare with the Borealis BullShark - obviously very different style divers

Both have high quality cases and impeccable case finishing for a 450-600 price point. Dial may be a tad nicer on the TC2 and both have great lume. The bracelet is superior (finish, links and screw systems, plus tolerances) on the Borealis for sure though bulky. The claps is better but way oversized. Both would benefit from more taper especially the Borealis. The end links on the TC2 aren't as precisely machined and have inconsistent gaps with the lugs/case.
