    Re: Tactico TC2 Expedition

I've decided to give it a go in spite of the Anko debacle and against my better judgment. I loved and missed in the first TC2 :( which was nicely made watch. Given its the same case and the original was fine and
that they hopefully learnt from their Anko mistake
And that they had produced great quality watches before the Anko
I decided to give it and the brand a chance
The original watch it is an homage of is no longer made and not in my reach so i wanted to try this one. That being said I am worried about L2L too.
    We'll see :)

    Re: Tactico TC2 Expedition

The more I look at it, the more I can't wait for it. Digging the vintage vibe, especially the dial markers. Reminds me of one I picked up a while back but flipped due to size (Eterna aside). The TC2 already has a solid reputation prior to any of the Anko issues, to include a couple of releases from Crepas since then. The ratio of good to bad is pretty solid if you ask me (14:1 across both the Crepas and Tactico brands) and not enough to ward me off.

Poop happens. Doesn't make it suck less, and does make it understandable if it does turn people off. The internet is brutal, however, when one makes 1 mistake. (Yes, I'm a fanboy, but I'm trying to come at it rationally due to the fact that I respect most of the naysayers in this thread immensely.)

The question was posed to them on FaceBook about dial alignment, and Ana says directly there is a movement holder in her answer to dial alignment.

Good work! Honestly, can't see them making the same mistake twice.

    Re: Tactico TC2 Expedition

Quick thoughts on Crepas/Tactico, I have owned and still own several of their watches. Currently have a Tactico RE that I bought new, as well as a Decomaster that was new as well. I also have a Crepas El Buzo, of which I am the second owner. I have also owned the Tektite, and the Cayman. All of these have been SOLID. I did not order the Anko, so can't comment on that one, but do sympathize with those owners. Only issue I had was with the Decomaster, it would not hold the power reserve. I sent it in to Ana, and it was fixed under warranty with no cost out of pocket for me, including shipping both ways. I would say from their track record, this one should be solid as well, and will be a classic with only 100 made. Here are a few pics of mine.

    Right.
Kinda my point in my earlier post.
Plus hey had put out several strong products before the Anko.

    I think it'll be fine.
But I paid paypal and have 6 months protection. I'll open a case if it gets real bad

One of the complaints about the anko purchase was that they refused to issue a complete invoice. Since payments were split over several milestones, makes it hard to open a claim for full amount.
