The FB page states that it is an aluminum bezel "with special treatment". Is it a textured PVD finish?

You guys took too long to answer so I had to buy one, lol. Case looks the same from pics. Looking forward to my first one from this company, and the great movement (hopefully held in place snugly).

My understanding is that it is the exact same case, with improvements to the bracelet as it is no longer a fold over design. It also has the upgraded movement. I believe the bezel has the same type of finish as the original TC2, aluminium with the textured finish, which I like quite a bit. It will be interesting to see how many are sold of this model, originally 100 only, but I would venture to say that number will be higher.

Great, thanks for the confirmation. I like the bezel insert finish a lot too. Good on the bracelet links as well - hollow end-links a no-no for sure.

Is 50mm lug to lug big? Got me worrying now doesn't seem that different to my other watches

Not especially, but I found it wore very flat. 50mm is good for me if it curves to the wrist a little more.

    Re: Tactico TC2 Expedition

I measured the Steinhart, came in at 50.28mm. The Steiny fits fine on my 7 1/4 wrist, my DSSD for comparison comes in at 51.89mm and it also does not curve much. I think it depends on how you like to wear your watches. I had a deep blue that was like 56-57mm long, looked stupid and I sold it.

    Re: Tactico TC2 Expedition

I guess only tactico can confirm wether the cases are identical, but by looking at the pics I would think so.

I'm not going to order one, the dial really kills it for me. The original dial looks a lot cleaner than the Expedition dial.
Also, when I had the original TC2 I already thought "what would it look like in 44mm?"
