Great mod, exactly what I would have done except I would have tapered the edge thinner and opened the notches rounder, figured one day I would find a used one at a good price and mod the black bezel. Looks great and actually useful now.

Another nice and subtle mod, and done very nicely.I don't dislike the raised teeth on the Harpoon, but I do prefer the smoother machined look you have created, did you try stopping when the teeth were machined flush with the bezel and see how that looked before you chamfered the edges? Just curious?

Wow perfect mod! You take custom jobs:)? The bezel teeth is whats holding me from bying one.
Awsome mods Sherrif !
Dave that is the perfect bezel mod.
It looks so much better without those raised bezel teeth. Your bezel mod looks just like the first prototype bezel that Boschett did for the Harpoon and I really liked it. As a matter of fact I was going to order one. Then the bezel was changed to the "pie crust" raised teeth bezel and I didn't like the look.
Nice job.

Excellent Mod.
I recently had to opportunity to pick up a Harpoon from a fellow member, but I decided against it as the bezel just looked too rough for me. Probably would have if it looked like your creation.

Amazing mod! I would love the option of having both. Very well done!
I realized this morning, looking at those pics again, that those extreme macro shots, along with the horrible lighting/color, didn't really accurately convey the end result...
so, here's a pile of much better natural light pics I snapped this morning, a much better representation of what it actually looks like :)
