    Venting on an acquisition

    I received my Raven trekker from a member here and to be honest ... I'm disappointed. One, the bracelet end links are to small to fit the springs bars. Two, the rubber strap width was to small and any tension will allow the spring bars to pop up because the rubber isn't flush against the lugs.

    I'm just kind of venting here but this is actually very disappointing that one a seller would not disclose these items and two, two of the three straps are defective.

    did you think about contacting Raven just to see if they have any thoughts on the issue? Maybe they can help.

    PS. Leave seller feedback in the deal feedback forum too (good or bad) both types make this place better.

    Surprising from Raven. Have you talked to the seller about it not being as advertised? Another option is to file a claim with Paypal since it's not what you were promised. I wouldn't just let it go though.

    well, before raven, PayPal and whatnot, have you contacted the seller? just in case it was an honest mistake, I always give the seller a chance to make good before even getting too upset

    It sounds like the seller may have given you springbars that didn't originally come with the watch. That would explain why they don't fit into the end links. It could also explain why the rubber strap isn't wide enough. If the springbars are too big for the rubber strap, that causes the rubber to expand too much.

    I'm pretty sure Steve shipped that watch on the bracelet, so I'm sure it originally had springbars that were the correct width.

    I can tell u 100% that is not the way mine arrived from Steve. Is this the oyster version or jubilee? Also please message me the seller name.

    Yes. I sent an email last night asking if they were the right spring bars. No response which is really weird. Steve at raven said they had issues with first run of the bracelet and to send it back to them.

    It's the jubilee. And I know Steve will make it right. It's just frustrating to receive something and basically can't wear it.
