Is tritium brighter than something like Superluminova or Lumibrite? I've never seen tritium in person.

SuperLumiNova and LumiBrite are both brighter than tritium, often considerably so. What tritium offers that those two do not is a glow without charging. I generally prefer SL/LB over tritium, but each has its pros and cons.
The bottom line is that luminous paint is not even in the same class as Mb-Microtec's tritium vials ... they glow for 25+ years w/o any external light source.
I know I am asking for a debate but -even the best lume paint, after 15 minutes is barely brighter than tritium; and by the time 20-30 minutes roll by ... the tritium vials seem like spot lights compared to the dying glow of the lume paint. Observations are first hand between my 2 Traser watches versus Lum-Tec, Seiko, Zenton, Deep Blue, Steinhart, Maratac ...

This question comes up often.
Here are a bunch of watches - SuperLuminova, Lumibrite, other regular lume, T25 Tritium and T100 Tritium:
Initially, the regular lume "Blooms" and is much brighter than the Tritium watches.
After just an hour or so, however, the Tritium watches are much brighter - and stay that way for many years:
Tritium rules the night!

I prefer super luminova over tritium... A fully charge SL can easily last thru out the nite, although it last few hrs is not as bright as initial but still can be spottted easily in nite.
Tritium will have no changes but is always the boring small fine straight line and is SO SMALL...

What about:
Tiny slivers of high quality lume vs. Larger indices of the less potent stuff (eg Seiko SARB071 vs. Sinn 556)?
In my collection the Benarus Megalodon is the brightest. I have all my divers on a shelf and they receive the same amount of light. When I shut off the light the Benarus outshines them all.
Armida A1 is the new standard on lume.
