I had one for a few months and even on my 8" wrist I thought it was to big plus I cracked the bezel into door jams on a daily basis so eventually it got chopped :)

I never really liked the hour markers until I got an Orca. Now I appreciate them. Not so sure about the shape of the lugs, though. On the other hand, I've never handled one so I cannot pass judgement. But as long as you love it, that's all that matters.

I've had 2. Still have 1. Wish I still had the white dial.

    Enjoy your Ti!

In my opinion, a watch case should always follow the curve of the wrist, without overhang.
the orient OS 300 also has the caseback lower than the lugs and actually I see this as an advantage because the lugs do not dig in to the wrist infact both the OS300 and the megalodon are very comfortable on the wrist for this reason, imho

I don't mind a big case, but this one stands up too tall. I like the Puck and really liked my Vostok-Europe Anchar which are 47mm and 48mm cases respectively. But both are only 14mm high. Wide + low cases ride really well. Wide and high? Not so much.

Plus the Megalodon hands and markers are not my thing

Re: Why the Benarus Megalodon is not so popular?

I like the design, but think that the watch is simply too large/tall for my wrist. As I understand, this is the Megaladon 4 that is currently for sale, which means that the watch is popular enough that the first three runs sold out, so I'm not sure if I get the reason that this thread was started?

    Kind Regards,
    Nick

I like most everything Benarus and somewhat like the Mega. But everytime I see the dial, I think Flinstones/Bedrock.

That's the thing.......that doesn't look "perfect" to me, and many other people. As always...eye of the beholder and all that jazz.
