    Re: Work watch recommendation

Buy a pre-loved SBBN007 for around $700 and call it a day. Powered by the 8L35 of the quartz movements, the great 7c46, this watch comes with a soft iron protective cover inside the caseback to protect the watch against magnetic fields.

And it fits right under shirt cuffs no problem, too.

But I also agree that the BFK (model SKA371 and siblings) is a perfect watch, too - for less money than the tuna.

Another vote for the CWC SBS. I've had mine for 5 years and it's endured the harshest of environments and abuse

wow, just when I was about to pull the trigger, all these other awesome watches pop up! I think we're a bit spoilt for choice in the watch world, it makes it so hard to pick just one watch.

I'll set myself a time limit.. I have to buy one within 24 hours. Starting now!

Here's another for ya: The TAWATEC Black Titan Diver Tactical ICS. PVD, All Titanium (Bracelet too), Tritium lume, destro crown (so it doesn't dig in to your wrist). Again, big at 44mmx15mm thick, but I've never had a problem with 14-15mm fitting under a shirt cuff... 16-17mm, yeah, but never 14-15mm.

They are alive, because they are the physical shape of the action of a living power—of the mind that had been able to grasp the whole of this complexity, to set its purpose, to give it form… they are alive, but their soul operates them by remote control. Their soul is in every man who has a capacity equal to this achievement. Should the soul vanish from the earth, the motors would stop because that is the force which keeps them going - not the oil ...- not the steel cylinders that would have become spots of rust on the walls of the caves of shivering savages- the power of a living mind, the power of thought and choice and purpose.

I should mention that if you are not in Europe you do not have to pay VAT on the CWC - tell them to take it off and it will save you $85 or so.

    Re: Work watch recommendation

To confuse you more, I recommend this watch a lot by the way because I just bought it (that, and it seems to satisfy many people's criteria), take a look at the titanium citizen pmx56 2811.
Good luck, I think you only have like 5 hours left with your time limit, lol. I like that one a lot.

A friend of mine told me the other day "just buy one, you'll then have plenty of time to find watches you like more, and you will then know what you really want to buy next time" lol
