Hello everyone, we are pleased to announce our newest Prototype release the 2nd generation NITROX. As many of you are already familiar with this model, NITROX was our first Dive watch project almost three years ago. We are much exited about this watch, as we have tried to implement our past few years of development experience and design and combine them into the 2nd generation NITROX. We will continue our tradition of building vintage, classic inspired Dive watches that has become our signature line. ZIXEN is pleased to announce we are accepting pre-order for the all new NITROX II series. NITROX is a vintage case design from the 60’s with modern elements, it follows the original round contour geometry of our first generation NITROX with added features of antimagnetic, HNBR seals and O’rings, Sapphire bezel on black and blue models, stainless steel bezel on the Silver sunburst dial, we are also investigating a Sapphire bezel for the Silver dial.....please note: ( no antimagnetic on the Sunburst dial ). Updated Tritec C3 Super Luminova TM, 24MM lug width with screw type lug design attachment method, 44mm case with 15mm total height. Christmas is the target delivery date. I'm glad that the black dial Nitrox has silver hour/second hand...any other color and you had my comtemplating about my 3rd Zixen (DSR500 on my wrist and Trimix incoming) ...

On top of that, I've got a Zenix NITROX...that should suffice anyway..
But they sure look great!!!

theres 4 versions on the website, but you can only order the 3 on the mesh. What about the first one with the rubber band? that one is not available?

I would wager that all of them are available on mesh or rubber strap, whichever you pick. Those pictures are just illustrations.

Interesting. What advantages does the "new" C3 super luminova have? Is this an improvement to just this model from the first introduction or is it even better than what has been used on your watches in the past. I have a Heliox Modern dial and it has killer lume.

Hello RGS...Great question...

The Original NITROX we released three years ago came with a Vintage color Lum that was about 40% less brighter than this version...the C3 on this model is bright, about the same as your HELIOX.......

YEAH! I am with SeikoSickness on this one. Would like a divers clasp for the 1000, and am glad there is a seven link option as I don't really care for mesh. Now, which one to get? I think the silver looks great, and I don't have a silver dialed dive watch. Decisions, decisions...

yeah I see those options thing is the first one black dial with the rubber strap has a different dial then the others. It only has 60, 15, 30, & 45 on the dial the others have all the 5 min marker increments. Guessing it was a pre-production mock up?

Hello Joe,

This is a beautiful watch! When I went to the Zixen order page, it gave me an option to upgrade to either a sapphire bezel or a sapphire crystal. I thought these were included in the price - are they in fact options? If so, what features are included without the upgrades?

Also - is this a 60- or 120-click bezel? Thanks again.

This watch screams vintage easy elegance to me, while remaining a tool first. I love it! It reminds me a bit of the very cool Kontiki diver, but with a couple more very cool details. It has it beat esthetically if you ask me.
And that mesh ending with oyster links, made me see the light: it's the first mesh I like and the combo with the watch makes me get it: mesh is cool and vintage and it says diver above anything else.
