    Zixen DSR1000: Any in-depth review /feedback appreciated

Was browsing the various sub forums and found Zixen had a sale on the DSR1000. Couldn't really find any in-depth reviews, or unboxing threads. Would like my fellow Divers enthusiasts to chime in. Mostly about the "wearability" of the watch. I had never had any squarish case before. So without diving in blindly, would appreciate any Intel.

For consideration, I have a flat 7" wrist. My current rotation mostly are Helson Moray, DB M2K type of selection. Dom

    Thanks brutha, much appreciated.
So I guess there is no quick fix for the stock bracelet sizing fitment issue then. Time to figure out my options.

I recently got a DSR 1000 on sale and am really liking it. They only had the GMT version in the blue I wanted, but it grew on me. The rectangular case helps it wear well, I think. It never feels like it rides too far down my wrist, and I think it somehow makes the watch wear a little smaller than it's very considerable size. I have a sub-7" wrist, and I think I'm more-or-less pulling off wearing this bad boy. And, it IS a glorious beast. I love how heavy and substantial it is. I enjoy being reminded that I'm wearing this cool watch. Plus, if you're wearing a DSR 1000 and someone tries to mug you, you can take it off and pistol-whip them into submission. My Lum-Tec M23 is the same diameter but seems to wear bigger (another heavy, awesome watch).

To post a followup on the DSR1000. I did purchased it thru Zixen's site. The Coke bezel GMT version. I was excited, to say the least.

Received the watch today. Woozar, little heavy gem we got here. Good high polish side case.
    Then....found something unusal....
The crown is not proper seated against the watch case. Unscrewed the crown to wind it, looking at the watch with the crown at 12 position (top up), it's slanted one way. Thought it was just a threading issue, proceeded to wind the movement... Oh My...freelie willie, the turning of the crown does not engage the stem to wind.
Phutt with it for a couple of minutes, ending up shot an email to Zixen to see whats up.

The saga continues.....bummer. Really like how the watch look too....

Dang! That's nutty! I had some communication back and forth with Zixen on GMT versus non-GMT, and they were good to work with, so I'd imagine they will be helpful for you, too. Good luck.
