Horoligical Tour 2012 - KL and Singapore

It all started about 18 months ago with a desire to own a 312, which spread to a 000 and then a 372.
Then i needed a box to house my lovely watches. And after much searching, i found a lovely guy in Singapore who made some beautiful watch boxes. And since i was coming down to Singapore for a holiday, i thought why not meet him and collect the box.
I was also hoping to use this time to meet some ristis here in Singapore and then thought, why not the KL ristis too...

So in mid June...we left Adelaide, Austrlia - bound for KL initially, then Singapore.

My plane awaits...

This flight is taking forever...


We arrive, watch shot with my oldest daughter

Then to singapore, no trip complete without a visit to the local boutique
Trying to find it on the directory


Gotcha - now to find it in the building

We spot something as we come up the escalator

tried on a submersible 47mm, very nice, some extra straps

Nothing fancy, just an extra strap



Now for the strap changing routine, need my reading glass so i can see better...



Done...


The next day (today), mini GTG with the Singapore Ristis at lunch time
10 minutes to meet up time


I'm excited, tried on an Ennebi for the first time - i want one now!!!

Pat had some extra straps - so i relieved him of it...


And Gene brought along the box he made for me - 200 individually cut pieces! And 2 days of labour to make a single box! Great work pal, thank you so much, my hunt for the watch box completed.

It is true, the watch is just the GPS. Felt like i have known these guys for a long time!
