    3d Diver Design Render

I was bored the other night. I threw together a pretty basic sub homage type diver. Anyways, check it out. Maybe some day I'll put something a little more unique together.

    Case diameter (45.5mm)
    Lug distance (22mm)
    Lug to Lug (51mm)
I wasn't sure about the crown, so I guessed at 6mm. Looks like it fits.

    What do you think?

From this angle it looks like a lot of other dive watches. Lugs look a bit sharp.

Yea i know. I kind of stole from the planet ocean size, and my orient mako. Also, i havent done anything with rounding the sharp edges yet, so you are right.

Meh. Do we need another Subalike? You can find them for a diollar, or for more expensive than the real thing - I would advise that the market is more than saturated with them, and some fresh air would be of more use.

Very nice rendering though - put your talent to better use and you'll turn a lot of heads.

Haha guys, Im not trying to design a watch to sell. I was just bored with some tools at my disposal. That was ~1.5 hours of messing around. If i were to go for an original design, i would devote much more than that.

as i can see, you made integrated crownguards.I like that.
but to be honest: i cant see anything on that render, cause everything is black. try to set other lights in your 3D scene, and i would prefer to see different angles (top-, side-, perspective-view)
wich programm do you use? (wich renderengine?)

Pro Engineer. Now called Creo Elements. I use an older version at work, but have the new version at home.
