Custom Rose Gold Omega 1022 Project - Possible?

I am looking to customize an older Omega Caliber 1022 for my girlfriend. Love the retro design, but she wants a watch that is rose gold. Rather than having her wear some Michael Kors garbage, do you think it's possible/worth it to replate the Omega in Rose Gold? I was thinking of replating the case, band, hour markers and hands in rose gold (30-50 microns) by a custom shop that specializes in replating watches. Anyone see any problems with this? And will it be worth it?
