Some Concepts

Hi guys.

I'm a working product designer in Australia. I thought it time I shared some concepts i did a couple of years back. these i produced as possible design directions while doing concept work on a watch to take to production and release in limited quantities under my own name. While these are pretty different from the final design (which i can't share yet ;) I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
This concept uses a slim line Miyota quartz movement, and flxible spring-steel and polutherthane band

this one's a little wilder, it features a miyota hand-wound skeleton movement, and single hand.

I like the second design very much.

Nice designs but perhaps you should think about making the hands a bit wider and more noticeable. The ones you have now are nice but they might be a little hard to see with a quick glance.

That first one would make a better money clip watch. The pressure needed to hold onto your wrist during more abrupt arm movements would also be too much pressure on the wrist, imo.

I do like the 2nd one a lot.

I like the first one because of the band/bracelet concept. Very nice work.

Quartz is a four letter word in my house. Put an automatic movement in it (which is probably too thick) and you have an interesting design.
