Just bought this 2002 Marcello C (1) today!

Hi all,

Don't know if this is the right sub-forum for "oh heck I'm happy today and I happend to snap some pics" but here goes. Just bought this 10-year old Marcello C today. It's the first Nettuno (later Nettuno 2 och 3 has arrived), but this edition does not have either "Nettuno" or "Epos" printed on the dial which to me is a plus.
Great ETA 2824-2 movement, and for a really good price too (due to the heavy beating the bezel has taken over the years).

After all the pics were taken, I realised that the bezel was not centered on "12" to my great dismay. But what the heck, it's a great looking watch none the less (yes, I know, very much like the sub).

Great looking watch! Most of the Marcello's I have owned so far have all been around 5-7 years old and they all have look great. Also out of 15 of them I have only had one that the previous owner had stripped the crown out on that had a issue.

So enjoy it, but you do know this one does say "Nettuno" on the dial, right??

Good to hear that you have such good experiences with Marcello. Since I bought it I have checked how it keeps time, and it's actually incredibly good; between +1sec and +4sec per day. Better than I had hoped for (it's a few years old after all).
And yes, I saw the Nettuno on the dial afterwards, I must have been drunk or something writing that. :) I left my dumb comment in there anyway; it reflects more of my gibbery happy-mood than my eyesight (I hope!).
