"real" Max Bill

Finally have one!! One of hundred issued by Movado. Yes hate it or love it, but I got one. ;)


For me this is the real Max Bill watch. Designed by Max Bill for Movado. Also known as the "Max Bill Rainbow". Although he designed the watch in '92. He already start using these colors in the seventies.


The watch is made from silver and with a 45mm a heavy watch. Still very comfortable because it is very thin.


It houses a ETA2600, but overhauled by Movado. Search for the 10 differences. Well to be honest there more.


When I told people I finally found one and showed some photo's from the internet. The first reaction was: "Will you wear really wear this??". Now it finally arrived I know I'll wear it. Also most of my friends it is indeed too cool not to wear!

Some questions about the size. Therefore I added the 292 for comparison. Both are 45mm! In this photo the Radiomir is underneath the Movado.

I can imagine not a lot of you like it, but for me it is not really a watch. More a piece of art designed by Max Bill. Just made some photo's as it is completely restored.
