    Two New Twin Quartz

Just received two more Seiko twin quartz watches. A Grand Quartz calibre 9943 and a King Quartz calibre 9723. Both are going into the constant temperature chamber for an accuracy check.

    First the Grand Quartz.

    Then the King.

I have two other Seiko twin quartz watches and one Longines VHP with a twin quartz movements. These have been calibrated and keep time well within their stated accuracies.

We will see if these two new Seikos live up to the HeQ standards.

Congrats! Beautiful watches both, esp. the Grand Quartz with its dappled dial. Don't see that anymore.

Some say the 8030 is the best Seiko case from the 70s.

The 9943 should be 10s p/y accuracy? Not sure about the 9723 but shouldn't be far off.

    Great finds!

Got these from a Japanese auction site. Haven't seen too many on eBay lately.

I've always been fascinated by heqs esp. twin quartz but I don't know how to get one. They are not on ebay. Where can I obtain one and how much will it cost? Thanks!!!
