Thanks for the kind words ;- Big picture and it's one of the better looking/Finished Quartz movements too, not on par with the Seiko 9Fxx or the Oysterquatz of course.

I'll make sure to take a picture of that magnetic shield if I open it up again, although by the looks of it, won't be needed anytime soon

    Accuracy update here :
    - at room temperature between March 23rd and May 20th, it lost 0.544 seconds, i.e. -3.4 spy
    - at room temperature between May 20th and October 6th, it gained 0.685 seconds, i.e. 1.8 spy

Looks like it enjoys slightly warmer weather but is still incredibly accurate, and you've got to love the digital calibration terminal for DIY fine-tuning

Thanks, now I need to tweak the bracelet a bit so that it fits more comfortably! Have you been able to "zero out" your Conquest too?

The HAQ joy continues : at room temperature between October 6th and April 5th, it lost 0.051 seconds, i.e. -0,10 spy

Reverting to the October 6th posting, it is surprising to me, maybe indicative of ignorance on my part, that the difference in room temperature between spring on the one hand and early fall on the other, should result in a switch from losing at a rate of -3.4 spy to gaining at a rate of + 1.8 spy..... a net change of 5.2 spy, when its overall figures had been so remarkably low. Any explanation?

I believe we're talking about Europe here,

    period 1: March 23rd - May 2Oth
    period 2: May 20th - October 6th

period 2 in Europe is a lot warmer than period 1.

I perfectly agree - my own tests have shown that ETA TC (at least after some aging) is not as advanced as other models, and such differences with temperature are to be expected.

I have posted my latest conclusions at:
