More of a real life Gshock sighting, but worth posting I hope. He ended up having served in the same unit as a federal prosecutor whose help was integral to cracking the case.

Judging by the picture alone, my guess is G-2210-1V

    Looks like a PRT-40 from 2001.

Found it second from the top on the left of the following page from Stefan's website.

Initial checks suggest that it's not a ProTrek after all but a Suunto Vector, possibly an X-Black. Not a G, then, but still a cool watch - one of the few non-Gs I'd consider having

Does anyone want me to bother getting more caps from this movie..?

WOW the mighty John Cena of the WWE btw do any wrestlers wear wristwatches in the ring? if they would, the GSCHOCK would be the only option.

This is a great thread! And I LOVE that movie! A friend of mine did executive protection (bodyguard/security) work in years past, and told me that people in that profession know that other people will notice watches, footwear, clothing, etc and use that to mark you as security when you're trying to be discrete. IIRC, at that point in the movie, Denzel Washington was trying to blend in and do his thing without sticking out. An obviously hard-used digital working watch sticks out when you're wearing a suit. You also see that kind of thing in Ocean's 11 when Danny and Linus are in the elevator shaft. They have their dressy watch, then what looks like a Luminox farther up the arm.

    Just my .02 :)

AFAIK and I've seen the movie, the whole point of the two watch bit was the stainless steel watch had a pager feature which was going to send a page to the explosive device Denzel had shoved up the bad guys behind. Unless I'm mistaken this was the only time we saw the two watch bit in the movie.

    Wink Hackers, Revisited:

Locomoco sent me a message he had seen a G-Shock worn by a side actor. Ictually I had seen the movie about a year ago I think and saw it too, but never took a screen caps. Thanks to Locomoco I made new stills from the DVD, clearly showing the ProTrek and suprisingly, a DW-6400....
